Training heritage

The Cessna 172 first flew in 1955 and has served as a flight-training platform for more than six decades.

Design and safety context

Its high-wing visibility, low landing speed, stable handling and tricycle landing gear are among the reasons the type became a widely used trainer.

Training heritage

The DA42 first flew in 2002 and received EASA type certification in 2004; it has been used in multi-engine training for about two decades.

Design and safety context

Two engines provide propulsion redundancy and the composite safety cell is a central design feature. Multi-engine operation still requires appropriately qualified crew and disciplined procedures.

Training heritage

The Virus family has been produced since the late 1990s and is used by private pilots and training organisations; the certified SW 121 family dates from 2016.

Design and safety context

The family uses a lightweight composite structure and efficient aerodynamics. Exact certification, parachute installation and avionics depend on the individual aircraft and are confirmed before the flight.

The displayed aircraft rates are hourly prices supplied for this page. The final quote confirms the exact aircraft, billing basis, guest limit, briefing, fuel, airport or landing charges, VAT where applicable and any other inclusions before payment.

Larnaca simulator centre

A320, FNPT II and VR flight simulators

The formats below are based on the current public information of Dento Aviation's Cyprus Simulator Center. AG Flights confirms the device, venue, instructor format, availability and final terms before payment.

The A320 option is an Aircraft Procedure Trainer (APT), not a full-motion Full Flight Simulator. FNPT II is intended for structured single- and multi-engine procedure training. VR sessions are suitable for beginners and aviation enthusiasts; the provider states a minimum age of 8, with younger guests only by prior approval.

A responsible way to compare

What “safe” means for a real flight

A model's history and design are useful context, but no aircraft type can provide an absolute safety guarantee. The specific aircraft and operation matter more than a marketing label.

Aircraft status

The exact registration, variant, airworthiness status and installed equipment must be confirmed for the day of the flight.

Maintenance and crew

Flights depend on required maintenance, inspections and an appropriately licensed pilot or instructor following approved procedures.

Weather and loading

Weather, airspace, fuel, passenger weight and balance can change the aircraft, timing, route or permitted guest count.

Final authority

The pilot in command makes the final operational decision and may postpone, adapt or decline a flight when conditions require it.

Availability request

Choose an aircraft or simulator and request a date

Select Larnaca or Paphos, compare the available options, enter a preferred date and send the request. Nothing is charged at this stage.

Aircraft or simulator

Aircraft prices are hourly rates; simulator prices are per selected session. Availability, exact aircraft or device, participant limits and operating conditions are confirmed before payment.

Nothing is sent until you review the details and select Send request.

AG Flights will use these details only to handle your request.

Continue with a detailed programme page, explore other flight experiences or arrange a gift after availability and inclusions are confirmed.

Questions about aircraft and simulators in Cyprus

Are four-seat aircraft suitable for four guests?

No. Four seats means four people in total, including the pilot. Up to three guests may be requested, but the final number depends on the aircraft, weight and balance, fuel and operating conditions.

Is the displayed aircraft price per person?

The page shows an hourly rate for the requested aircraft. The final quotation confirms the charging method and all inclusions before payment; it should not be treated as a per-person fare.

Can I select a particular aircraft?

Yes. Select the aircraft in the request form. AG Flights then confirms whether that exact type and location are available for the preferred date.

Where are the aircraft available?

Cessna 172 requests can be made for Larnaca or Paphos. Diamond DA42, Piper PA-28 and Pipistrel Virus requests are currently listed for Larnaca.

Is the Airbus A320 simulator a full-motion simulator?

No. The listed A320 experience is an Aircraft Procedure Trainer. It is designed for cockpit familiarisation and procedural scenarios, not as a full-motion Full Flight Simulator.

How is flight safety confirmed?

The aircraft type alone is not a guarantee. The specific aircraft, maintenance and airworthiness status, crew, weather, airspace, loading and operating conditions are checked before a flight is confirmed.
